So you wish to learn about Elementals. First i will describe what elementals are, do, and their purpose. Then i will leave you some links so you can learn about each elemental personally. There are four... and Only Fourknown elementals in the world of Nevaryn. Elementals are mortals, who happen to be a pure form of an element. The four elementals in the world are Fire, ice, earth, and wind. Being the pure form of the element, there are none who's power comes even close to strength of the elementals... not even the Gods themselves. However, since elementals are still mortal they can, and will die. From sickness, poisen, battle, age- elementals are influenced the same as mortals. Now each elemental works for a god. Whether or not they really want to, i don't think the god will just kindly let them leave to live their own life. The elementals help give their god power, and fight along side them. The gods in return do anything possible to keep their elemental safe. Usually to be an elemental means to have no privacy.. and to never be alone... unless of course you sneek out. One of the key factors always on the elementals mind is the need to continue their heritage. Elementals need to have a child before they die. That way the power of the element will live on through the kid. The children usually do not get their powers until they are about 15 years old. Some a few years earlier, and some a few years later. If a child gets his powers, and his parent is still alive. One must be put to death to keep the element strong, and unbroken.
